Ricardos Khoury

President & CEO

Ricardos Khoury, the founder of Novus Technologies sits on over 26 years of knowledge in IT and retail industries. Immediately after his graduation from Notre Dame University, he moved on to work with leading IT companies like DELL, INTEGRO & DEC where he started to build his knowledge in retail banking and retail delivery channels covering many markets in France, Middle East and the Mediterranean basin.
In 1996 he started his association with the international business team of SIEMENS NIXDORF occupying different positions up to leading the business unit responsible for the development of the banking business in the Levant. In 2002, Ricardos joined the Wincor Nixdorf Asia Pacific team in Singapore to develop new markets and manage the banking partner channel. Over the course of 11 years, he managed various regional functions leading to the role of Regional Vice President, Head Banking Industry Asia Pacific, responsible for the consolidated banking business in 19 APAC markets.
In March 2013, Ricardos decided to trade the structured corporate life against entrepreneurship and founded Novus Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore. A true believer in mobility and its business impact especially in the retail space, Ricardos focused the efforts of the new company in the direction of Customer Experience Management (CEM) Solutions, Store and e-Channels Transformation and Digital Payments, producing several key digital innovations that are endorsed by TOP banking and Fintech brands in APAC.

Sidath Wijeratne

President & CEO - Novustech Sri Lanka

Sidath is a multi-disciplinary technocrat with over 30 years of experience working in tier-1 banks and financial institutions across Sri Lanka and Australia. He holds a Bachelor’s in Applied Computing from Manchester Metropolitan University UK and a Master’s in Business Management from University of Sri Jayawardenapure Sri Lanka, Sidath has also completed post-graduate programs at Stanford University United States, CICC Japan and in NIBM, India.
His visionary leadership has enabled organizations to leverage on digital technologies to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiencies and optimize costs to achieve transformational change. Prior to joining Novus Sidath was the Chief Digital Officer of the largest private retail Bank in Sri Lanka, Hatton National Bank spearheading digital innovation, strategic engagements and building an eco-system around fintech partners. He also served as the CIO for HNB Bank and held the same position for DFCC Bank and Central Finance in Sri Lanka in early days of his career.
In 2009, Sidath undertook the challenge of setting up of the Business Consulting Practice for IBM Worldtrade Corporation in Sri Lanka due to his entrepreneurial spirit, accrued management and industry proficiencies and the desire to drive business outcomes. This was a responsibility that demanded establishing business processes, developing a brand and a go to market strategy to commence a country operation. His extensive experience in Program Management roles within multinational and multicultural work environments with Commonwealth Bank and Information Management Integration Australia was instrumental in managing sensitive and critical situations to build a strong world-class establishment with clients, C-suite executives and colleagues. Ariel B. Gumabao

Country Head - Philippines

Ariel is a Graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas.
After graduation, Ariel launched his career with a leading telecommunications company where he began his specialization in maintenance and operations and later on, in sales and marketing over a period of 16 years. That eventually lead to a 10-year partnership with a large mutli -national company engaged in the design and manufacture of self service terminals and solutions for the financial industry.
Soon after, his expanding knowledge of and network in the industry, allowed him to include products and solutions in the Digital Banking, Payment, Design and Consultancy with Novus Technologies.

Yansen Chendra holds Bachelor of Management Information System from Bina Nusantara University with over 25 (twenty five) years of experience in sales and marketing and 17 (fifteen) years in IT industry. Deepak Gangadharan

Regional Head, Payment Technology and Infrastructure- Sri Lanka

Deepak started his career in 2004 while pursuing his graduations in science with a humble background in India. In the last 15+ years, he evolved into a motivated, personable business & technology professional with a track record in Payments Industry, especially EFT. He possesses extensive hands-on experience & deep understanding of Cards & Keys Management, Electronic Transaction Processing, Issuing & Acquiring, Payment Gateway, ATM-BNA-ICD & POS implementation & management, eWallet ecosystem & has a thorough understanding of PCI-DSS & Visa-MC-EMV Certification process. He has worked & experience in both Indian & other International markets.
In his last stint with AGS Transact Technologies Ltd (AGSTTL), he along with his Team implemented Postilion EFT & hosted RBL Bank's Cards & ATM base, to begin with. In later years, he successfully implemented many other projects including BankTech India's White label ATM, POS implementation for RBL Bank & India Transact Technologies Ltd. He also paved the path towards digitization & kick-started the Mobile Development, which today is serving Agency Banking with over 3000 cash points in Cambodia. He also received an accolade from ACI Worldwide for developing unique & innovative system related to Card Maintenance for RBL Bank.
Deepak had also worked with Fidelity National Information Services Inc and HCL Infosystems Ltd before joining AGSTTL, He is flexible, versatile & can maintain a sense of humour under pressure.
